Description
This is a collaborative project between me and NY based band Jigsaw Soul.And our work won the following awards:
- Best video/film/animation Award, Terminal 00 Balkan Art Festival, Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2006
- F – Chair Jury Award, Terminal 00 Balkan Art Festival , Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2006
- Best Music Video Award, Planet Ant Film Festival &Video Festival, Detroit, USA, 2006

It reminded me of the shorts I'd see on HBO and stuff when i was younger, that inspired me to be an artist.

Wow, this really hit me.
I never really understood cubism, abstractism, or how movies were really "art."
But this shows me everything I needed to see. I guess I never really saw anything that was so... in tune with people.
At least, it tuned into me, and told a very elaborate story.

The animation, music and artwork were all very beautiful, and impressively done. But I have to say, I don't think I really see the point. Does the video express anything, or is it just abstraction?

but some pretty wild graphics .. the kind that makes you stare at it endlessly ..
and owh the music is another thing, perfectly matched the theme, which actually reminds of one of my fav. movies musics, requiem of a dream..

This is really interesting... odd (not bad-odd though), but interesting. I really liked how the different shapes and patterns developed into things (mostly faces).
If you don't mind, and if it's okay for this, would it be okay for me to use this as part of my research? I've got to do something sequential and I think his might really help.

Hmm... it would probably just be taking screenshots and saying 'he did this which is interesting because ________' and suchlike. It's a piece of... our project's called 'Sequential' and, other than that, we've got free reign. So it would probably be talking about the sequences in your piece.
I should mention, this is for a university (foundation level) project, so nobody outside of the lessons sans external examiners will see it.

Well, I haven't done anything yet, but yes, once I'm done I'll contact you about it (though I have no idea when). And as for the interpretation of your piece... expect and don't be annoyed at my interpretation, if it's completely different to what you intended it to be.
