I just can't get over how beautiful this photo is. I keep looking at it and it is just so utterly appealing. Might I even go so far as to say Perfection? There isn't one thing I'd change about it. It's just gorgeous.

How do you (and Roger) achieve that dreamy quality to the picture (and some of your earlier commercial work which you have posted)? Is this by way of a soft focus lens (or filter) or is it post-production?

There's no soft focus, but as I'm sure you can tell, there is some selective color going on...but only moderately selective and I'm not doing a pure cutout. There are gradations in what is not the hair. Then I simply use a soft box for the soft, directional light.
