Description
Over the years I have created several images of the parting of the sea by Moses and recorded in the book of Genesis. So for this image, I wanted to create a parting-of-the-sea that wasn't water. I thought about dirt, or grass, but finally ended up on choosing rocks. I modeled the rocks in Cinema4D and piled them high. Then I blended everything in Photoshop with a picture of myself. Modeling and rendering took about 2 hours, and then another 1 hour in photoshop to bring it all together.
