Itβs a piece that makes you stop and think. It also leaves so much room for interpretation for each person as I see from the comments.

beautiful light and colors in this one. I think it's pretty hard to work with a "single" cloud in the foreground but you did it really well!

This is good. It's even deeper than the artist knows, I believe. Though storms are most commonly associated with tempestuous moods, they also provide life-giving water to plants such as the one the child is watering here. This implies that adults, though grumpy, are more efficient at nurturing, though children are also naturally predisposed to nurture (let's not forget that this child's head is a sun, providing another vital nurturing element to the plant).
Perhaps the price of efficiency is the loss of a sunny disposition, the gain of a cloudy demeanor. Regardless, parents need their children every bit as much as those children need their parents.
