All images by me.Story behind this one: I wanted to show a dark and blackened heart that represents our current status before a perfect and holy God. The moment of salvation is when we offer up our heart to God, even though it is dirty and wicked, because that's all we have to offer. God wants our hearts more than He wants us trying to prove we are worthy.
How I made it: I got several cans of red play-doh and molded the shape of a heart. Afterwards I got some corn syrup and food coloring, and poured the mixture all over the the heart and hands. Finally I went into photoshop and took the saturation down and made it look more black and tarry.

Don't get me wrong, this is amazing. Stunning, really, but that is a horrible watermark that makes me skip over it entirely.

How did you make the image appear to be a drawing? I'm not sure if that was your intent but I find it to be a very beautiful and interesting picture that way.

I am really amazed by the dripping affect in this piece! I get a very slimy feeling from it and it sends chills up my back. Very cool!
