I WON'T EVEN START trying to figure out how long time this image took. I've been working on it on and off since WEDNESDAY - so go figure XDAnyway~!
Since I've drawn #1 and #3 on my KHR favourite character list (Kyoya and Dino, respectively) I thought it was time to draw my #2 - Muku-chan! (Aka, Rokudo Mukuro)
Actually took quite a VERY long time to get the sketch and lineart to this in order, but it eventually worked out, and I'm actually pretty darn pleased with the result!
So yah~

nice job, looks really great and epic ^^..... still would like to see some different color blending for the shading and highlights in your color though... the flowers all seem to have a darker outer petal and lighter inner petal which makes it hard to give it a realistic kind of feel... the shading that we see in the flowers as apposed to the figure is different.... the perspective and pose is fantastic!! love it... really a nicely framed and drawn pic, the bigger flowers at the front and the slope of the photo really look great, as do the curves in the flowers etc.... well done!!

The darker outer parts of the petals are the markings on the flowers more so than shading. I wanted to have colour shifts in the petals since flowers have a tendency to do that... but I probably need to draw them more often to get a better hang of it.
And yes, the flowers are coloured differently than the characters, something that was intentional.
And I'm working on the colour blending, but it's going a bit slow. Best example with more colour depth in this picture is probably the skin colouring. I used 6 shading layers (including highlights) for that one XD

ahh cool, if this is more a color of the petal i can see that... but as you said, there is little shading present there in that case... looking great though!!! Keep up the killer work

I've read all of the manga up until now, and seen the entire anime - personally I think the manga is better than the anime (mainly because the anime is censored) but the manga also doesn't start turning good until at chapter 60 or so (It's mainly gag before that).
...But it's definitely worth watching/reading!
