Something I've been working on the past few days. Eventually, I'd like to turn this into a fully functional suit. I mainly wanted a very retro, early Showa look. Something that would look rather menacing, but could also fill the role of an anti hero.
Oddly enough, inspiration for this suit mostly came from the 55 suit, as I wanted something lean, mean, and with a mostly Showa feel to it, as well as giving off the vibes of being a capable tooth and claw fighter. But I wanted to do some slight refinements. Most of which went mainly to the head as I wasn't really a fan of the flat head look of the original 55 suit and wanted something a little more menacing, but not too menacing.
I also wanted to do something a bit more interesting to his color scheme instead of just the typical charcoal grey color. I added a slight tinge of blue to the grey and I incorporated some brownish red highlights to the eyebrows (like the 64 suit), knees, and to the chest and belly, continuing to the underside of the tail. Honestly, it kinda gives off a slight Marmit vibe.
The spines are very much reminiscent of the 54 and 55 suits, again, keeping to the early Showa look. And the tail is kept rather short and comes to a point.

Eventually, I'll need to do some measurements, and get my hands on a lot of foam, latex, rubber, and various other materials. That, and start getting good at 3D modeling and use this guy for future projects.
