No I don't play the game, I don't have a wii, I don't fangirl over it or any of that jazz. I just happen to like Midna and think she's adorable.
But that aside, she was done for my best friend and the biggest Midna fan I've ever know - =Gloriantes for her birthday.
The BG is a combo of black card with a semi-sheer leaf-printed paper laid over the top. Looks crap in the scan but the original is very pretty. And Jess gets it, so that's all I'm satisfied with. :3

I have a Wii and I haven't played it yet...I are teh lame. >_< BUT! I have watched some cutscenes from it, and so far she seems the best thing about the game...well, that and Wolf!Link. 
But yesh, you draw her SO adorably well! I love how detailed you made her helmet/mask, and the brightness of the colours on her eye.

I've been wondering how you get the pictures you draw onto those nice backgrounds. Do you use an exacto-knife to cut them out or something?

I know you explained the paper, but you did Midna on plain white paper. I was wondering how you transfered her. I hope I'm not being rude. I'm just curious and I'm still learning different techniques and such.

Oh no, it's fine. :3 I coloured her on white paper, but made her main outlines thick, then I cut her out using sissors and a pair of nail sissors that I keep for artwork (just art, not nails. XD Ewww!) - nail sissors for the smaller areas.
