Kekeke - It's always amusing to find an old sketch in your folder and feel like finishing it.Besides - Rainbow Brite was my child-hood HERO!
I pity those who never saw the cartoons of the 80's - better than alot of trash on TV these days.Thinking of giving this to a close friend as an uberly late B-day present.

okay man. I AM LIKE the ONLY, ONNNNLLYY 15/16 I know[in person] that remembers Rainbow Brite and such and deargods <3 They now have the movie on dvd and everything and I go squee.

i'm actually annoyed by people who go "rainbow brite! my little pony! etc! wow, that brings back memories! i'm all nostalgic now!" because rainbow and MLP are part of my life now, not something that i left behind in childhood. i draw rainbow brite, etc, etc, and watch the movie all the stinking time. and i collect MLPs. it actually makes me really irritated when people go, "omg, i remember them!" because I never forgot them. sorry for the rant. @3@;;

Though I've honestly cannot remember that show ever (being an MLP fan more so than Care Bears), fanart like this makes me feel rather... honored... to be born in the early 80s, actually

I agree. 80's and even some early 90's cartoons and shows do beat out stuff like the Fairly Odd Parents. I love the face! The sleeves are so awesome, and you captured her skirt just right! It's weird, cuz I had a dream that you'd do a picture of Rainbow Bright once!!

HEY!!! Dis izzat EXTREMELY OLD cartoon kiddie show! I never seen it. (Cuz I didn't exist back then) But I once saw a commercial for action figures from it being sold with the DVD. Personally, I like ur art rainbow brite version then THERE'S. Iknow that doesn't make much sense, since you didn't make up Rainbow Brite. But you know what I'm gett'n at!
