Another commission for a friend! This was actually a commission done for their brother's birthday of his favourite character from a 90s niche anime/OVA based on a game(I think?). I only watched 1 episode to try to get a feel for the character I was told to draw so I'm no expert in the show. All I was able to glean from 1 episode is that this Jo Diamond character has super strength and super speed (hence the multiple versions of her in my drawing to make it look like she's running really fast)
I have to admit that, despite this anime definitely not being my style, the character design isn't bad.

Anyway I really pushed myself with this one, even if it may not seem like I did. I'm not the greatest at foreshortening but I really wanted a running pose so I did what I could. The clothing gave me a struggle with the pose but hopefully it's apparent that her jacket is coming off of her shoulder slightly. Overall, I'm happy with this piece, and so was my client so I'm satisfied.
