Description
This is a house, but it is not my home,It is silent and the only sounds that I can hear,
Are the ticking of the clock and the ringing in my ear,
I feel lonely and all alone.
I double lock the door and shut the windows tight,
Do my actions lock my fear outside?
I doubt it, but all I can do is hide,
And pray I make it through the night.
This place is my lodgings for several weeks,
All my possessions are in boxes, my clothes in bags,
But for £20 a week it's not really that bad,
All that it needs are a few minor tweaks.
Such as someone to talk to when I'm feeling blue
I'll just grin and bear it, you know that it's true.
