Description
A few days ago I got to meet some new people along with friends in ZOOM Gelsenkirchen. It was a very nice and fun day and per usual we spent most of the time in front of the wolf enclosure. Though honestly, these wolves simply were (and mostly always are) the most entertaining animals, haha.
This is the only female of last years litter and she has the darkest eyes out of all siblings. Just like her dad. We call her Malicia.

Fun wolf fact:
Shortly before shedding the coat of a black wolf often turns into a reddish-brown. This is due to them having already lost much of their long guard hairs and undercoat shimmering through. This is especially noticeable with yearlings loosing their puppy-coat. (This is the same wolf, three months prior in January ) The summer coat is a wolf's darkest coat._______________________________________________
