I totally forgot that I had taken this detail image of my previous upload of It Came from the Deep Web . The other one was a bit more cinematic than usual, so this is more of a means to see exactly what I did. I urge you, however, to check out the original image.

Gluestick (to conceal brows)
Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Stick, 140 Fuchsia Fever and 645 Red Revival (aka the best red I have ever owned)

yeah I do the same with my work, my brother is always telling me to make the details stand out more, but the way I think is that everything is subtle, or almost everything, if you are going for realism I try to always use an element of realism.

I always end up working from a more realistic standpoint, myself. Even if I try to work in a very graphic, cartoon-ey way, it ends up being more realistic than intended. XD
