I really want to post this at its full resolution, because all the details I put into the shading, but... that would be way too large.
Lines by the wonderfully talented Sayda, of her spellscale character; you can read up on Arda (and see Sayda's own colored version of these same lines!! *3*) here! It's some neat character design, so ... I suggest you head over there for it!

Yea, water IS hard. @@ Sometimes I have to redo the surface like... three times before I'm happy with what I've got, lol. XD The good thing about using water in a picture, though, is that you can use it to do so many different things to fix up the composition and lighting. I always feel kind of cheap, using it. Like I'm cheating. @@

Water is all about reflections. Add reflections over something that looks like a sheet and it's gonna look like water. Oh, yeah, don't forget the ripples. Other than that just go and check my gallery, I REALLY DO SUCK. XD

i just wanted u to know that i'm half way there to be able to create brushes... so i would like your permission to take that spellasting pyro blu fire effect and turn it into a brush or two ..

I hate to say it, but... No, I'd prefer if you didn't take the blue fire and make it a custom brush. For one, the fire is formed in an unnatural shape, simply so that it can fill up the composition in a nice way. Second, this was a collaborative work between me and another artist; while the original lines for the flame-ish things were erased so as not to detract from the magical aura, their general form was not a completely original work of mine. I don't think I even have the right to let someone "take that spellasting pyro blu fire effect and turn it into a brush or two". Lastly, it just doesn't sit right with me. Thanks for asking, Neronin.

its in the new expansion (Burning Crusade- sry its taken so long to respond). the, for lack of better word, bad guy jumps in the air, spreads his wings (he's like half-demon), and yells "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!" he makes an excellent villian. his name is Illidan the Betrayer.

I've played WCIII so I know about Illidan, but I really don't want to get sucked in by WoW. XD! Honestly, though, I can't help but feel bad for Illidan. :< He's just... not perfect.

I didn't actually use any special brushes; just the regular round hard brush with a lot of time and patience.

my friend told me about it...it has something to do with vector tools in photoshop but he hasn't master it yet...there are tutorials on the net and i believe that the creators of the brushes wont mind to satisfy your curiosity if you politely kiss their ass firs
btw u can find a lot of excellent brushes here on deviant just type brushes into the search area of the page and voila here they come

I love the shading on her skin, especially her thigh and stomach, very nice
my very favorite aspect would have to be the glowy stuff emnating from her hands I love how itΒ΄s such a stark contrast but starts to blend around her hands. Keep up the amazing work!
