Interesting... That's so much not the way that I start drawing people
I mostly start with the head (When I start with the torso, the head mostly gets very unproportional or in a wrong position) and from there, I draw rough shapes and curves where the rest of the body will be.
Your technique seems a lot more... technical, industrial somehow

at the beginning I had the same problem but now I'm fine with it!
if I start with the head I can't draw dynamical poses XD

It's so interesting to see the different ways people draw from the start, like you use frames for people and I use shapes!
This is also a really useful technique thank you so much for uploading this

I find it everytime interesting to see where the artist starts with there drawings, in the case the chest area.
As for my skethes always start with the head.
Is that intentional?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Wiccix In reply to ShadowDragon105 [2016-02-04 20:57:56 +0000 UTC]

They said that they can't draw action poses if they start with the head. Which makes sense.
starting with the head is useful for static side profiles or face on drawings but you kinda need body movement to judge what the head should be doing. If that makes sense lolΒ
