My teacher does the exact same thing! You spend an awfully long time working on something that you're quite proud of, you hand it in to your teacher, and BOOM!! That art assignment needs to be redone! Btw I really like your art style, I'm definitely adding this to my favourites

Eh. While I've been told the same all throughout my life, that's actually really good advice.
If you stop doing anime, and actually study basic fundamentals and principles of art, then you can even go back to anime and have a much better style -- one that would be a lot more realistic and just have a lot more elements that a lot of people that draw only anime seem to lack.
I mean, that's what I'm doing at least, and so far it's going really well.
