I really needed a photographic reference here.I tried to draw this tricky action years ago but...MEH.
Now I understand how it works!
I'm so happy to learn new little things XD
I do really advice you to look at REAL people too
when you want to study difficult poses..

i never understood how people use this technique, then i had to wear tighter tops for work (i usually wear sloppy men shirts) and ever since i use this arm crossing thing only xD

Yes! Feminin shirts are often tight, so it's easier to cross the arms like that and pull the shirt off, so it won't stretch and as a bonus, it ends up being on the right side again (outside of the shirt stays outside, I don't know what to call that XD).

Oooh, I love the one on the left lol. This has nothing to do with art, but sometimes a woman--because I'm a straight male, would be different obviously for another orientation--removing her clothes is more exciting than if she's completely nude. Back to artistic topic! LOL.
I HAVE to use real reference. I ALWAYS use it when doing something I don't know how to do. As I said in another comment, I have this short, fat cartoon bearded gunslinger character, and I looked up Clint Eastwood reference and other to help me with the outfit.
That WOULDN'T have been possible without the reference. I've taken to using a longer piece of "paper" and importing my reference to the side of my figure.
