Spike was the eldest of Queen Catrina Porcupine's children, the first of triplets. Born with Golden Brown fur and the fabled Needle Quills (both signs of a High Heir), he was to be the next in line for the throne of the planet Marya. At the age of one, he was kidnapped by the Professor Cat Eye, and along with two other cartoons, he managed to escape the man's clutches and be raised by a family of Humans.

Spike grew up alongside his foster brothers Coco and Satellite, attending Deep Green School, an all-Cartoon school (Cartoons and Humans at the time attended separate schools due to racist issues). There, he met his future wife, Violet Pines. At the age of fifteen he received a letter from his mother, stating that he was the next in line for the throne of Marya. But despite eventually understanding that none other but the high heir could rule, Spike decided to leave the throne to his mother until she decided to step down; he had already chosen to fight for good and stop the Professor Cat Eye from doing any further harm to the people of Earth, Humans and Cartoons alike.

As a child, Spike was atheist, finding it foolish to believe in anything that did not have concrete evidence. But after events in high school, and with the guidance of his music teacher and mentor Mr. Spot, Spike converted to Christianity.

Spike's journey as a hero is also a journey of self discovery; he eventually learns of a prophecy he plays part of, which includes the very powerful, and extremely rare, gift he was born with. The prophecy, as well as his gift, binds his fate to those of the three precious Angel Diamonds that fuel his home planet. Without one, neither can live, and neither can Marya.

The unofficial leader of the group K.I.C.S., Spike takes his job as a hero seriously, and will stop at nothing to defeat the Professor Cat Eye. And he's determined to do it without killing anyone.

Weaknesses include Moonstones (unlike Sunstones they absorb his energy, rendering him powerless) and an ancient forbidden word from the tongue of Darkness (is not permitted to be spoken for it causes him great pain. Let's call it the P word XD). Spike is also lactose intolerant and allergic to milk products (and yes, you can be both).

That's Spike in a nutshell. I'm sorry, I can't explain anything more about his powers because that'll give everything away XD But I will say that his friends had a kick in watching him learn how to control them

Ok. There's Spike. He's by far my FAVORITE of the KICSters. THat's why he's called my teddy bear He gives good hugs. I love drawing him the most <333

And the Virtue Key is supposed to change. I just haven't done it yet. I was bored. Please don't say anything about how it looks like Sonic XDDDD
