I thought I'd deviate from my usual, 'close-up of face' type composition. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.Feedback is appreciated.

though i really like most of your pieces, it's pretty powerful when anyone deviates from a familiar style. this one works well, and shows that you've got reach. it's more ambiguous and painterly than your others. i love the low contrast, and the top heaviness is awkward in all the right ways.

i'd say this is very minimalistic art - though it's not the typical minimalistic block-art i tend to think of, but more of a simplistic grunge piece, if it's possible. very "elegant", especially in contrast to the more chaotic pieces of yours.

Great piece. Nice hues and this keeps reminding me of Cubist work in an odd way. The geometry is quite subtle but still controls the viewers eyes on this. Even though you have covered this entire piece with textures you have done an outstanding job in creating a great use of negative space with the white. Very impressive piece ...you kept away from overtly dark hues, I don't see any nasty teeth nor any other of the cliches I keep seeing in this DA section

Nice motion blur! Is that a pic of a cyclist? And no colour, I love b&w. Really great manip. Only thing I could possibly suggest would be to soften the edge of the hood.

i like this too. i like what youre doing alot lately, which is just cutting out a whole part of the head, so its two areas totally contrasting each other. it looks and works nicely.
