Probably one of the last pics of this year, and definitely the last ref sheet of 2022. It was such a pain to do his insides, but I'm finally happy with one of my Springtrap designs. Now Purple guy......meh, it's fine, not really happy, not unhappy either, just meh.

I put a simplified version of its insides for my own sake into the ref sheet. And I tried to keep his damage to a minimum but still recognizable, because so many details hurt.

Also the ref sheet info is a mess, because I was in a hurry and because I really didn't wanna go into Afton as he is very heavily inclined to the messy lore and I didn't wanna rattle up my brain trying to make sence of it so I tried to avoid the stuff the best I could without compromising it. (probably failed, but meh, I need a break from the lore and reorganize my AU lore, so I don't need more headache) And I left his age blank and birth date....because I didn't wanna come up with ages for him, just know he a long living motherfucker

Now unto my break until my FNAF 4 ref sheets, this account is starting to look too much like those accounts that only do adopt designs and I do not like that one bit.

This is my own FNAF AU and so it isn’t completely faithful to the lore (whatever THAT is at this point).
Names, dates, backstories, and other details about the timeline were altered. My Au plays with the idea of “what if the kids had gotten the bad ending you see in FNAF 3?”, how it got to this point and the consequences of this ending, where the kids are forced to stay on earth as animatronics for far longer. If there would be more victims since it hadn’t stop with the “death” of the purple guy in the springlock suit and the “happiest day” mini-game present in the game.
So please be respectful and remember that it’s just an AU, not the end of the world.

-Story

Not much is known about his past before the opening of the franchise, or about his personal life, but it’s said that he was originally from England where he spent his first years of life before leaving with his family as a child.

He became good friends with Henry Emily, as they both had the similar ambitions in life, and he married a woman named “Clara”. Most believe their relationship was mostly based of mutual benefit rather than love (even though it is assumed that they both had some level of care for each other), of which three children were born, Michael, Elizabeth, and Evan.

William opened his first location with his friend Henry around the 70’s, and later a second one of which he was the sole owner (some think this was due to the fact William was envious of Henry’s, although simplistic, talent on making the robots seem “alive” and he wanted to somehow prove himself superior), however that one was quickly closed after the death of his only daughter, and he went back to focus on the business and his remaining family.

While the company expanded, William continued to work on his own secret projects, drifting apart from his family, and eventually the death of his youngest son, Evan, in the jaws of one of his and Henry’s creation drove him over the edge.

Research
Even before the death of Elizabeth, William was already curious on the concept of immortality. This curiosity started after he witnessed the death of an old family member when he was a teen and developed from there. In his mind, the only thing stopping people from living forever was the feeble human body, and so if he could only find a way to transfer the mind to another body, like a robot for example, then it would fix this issue.

Now mind you, this wasn’t for the sake of “saving humanity from death”, it was really for the sake of saving HIMSELF from death.

-Suit

After his countless crimes and for whatever unknown reason, he returned years later to the location where the robots were being kept. In there he destroyed their bodies, releasing the souls inside, of which caused him to hide in the old Spring Bonnie suit that crushed and pierced him to death.

In the end, he somewhat got what he had hoped for: a twisted form of immortality for sure, but immortality, nonetheless. Now he nothing more than a walking corpse, being constantly tormented by those hallucinations, and planning a way to escape.

Trivia:

His body forces him to move towards children’s noises, even though he knows it’s just a recording, the suit programming is too strong, and it hurts him severely to try and go against its course.
Body constantly hurting, fitting punishment really
He thinks the puppet one isn’t an illusion, but at this point he doesn’t care
He doesn’t really like the name “Springtrap” as for him it’s nothing more than a mockery, he is not like the kids he murdered, how dare they treat him the same way as them
Doesn’t regret murdering the children, just regrets not having dragged Henry’s daughter further away from the location if he knew this amount of crap would happen.
Loved his children, just wasn't the best at showing and his punishments were a bit too harsh
