I like the sentiment that he wouldn't wear a mask for honesty sake but from a tactical view considering he still wears a form of armor with the Kevlar weaves and scale mail not having and head gear to protect your face is tactically unsound.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I figured an American Icon shouldn't hide behind mask, that's why I got rid of it (and plus, that giant forehead A is pretty lame). Other than Hawkeye the only superhero who has a letter on his face is D-Man...nuff said.
KreepingSpawn, you're right about the shield! I just googled it and yup, Captain America is a lefty. Maybe I should just flip the image.

I see him use the shield with his right hand more often than his left, when using it offensively; defensively, yeah, he uses it with his left. He's probably a born right-hander, with trained ambextriousness.

exactly. but the shield should then be carried on the arm opposite the throwing arm. like a baseball glove.
they[Marvel] break this rule in Reborn[and probably elsewhere...] - Buck is shown carrying/wielding the shield left handed, as Steve does.
if your intent was to show him getting ready to throw the sield, he should grip it by the rim...
sorry, it's nitpicky i know, but i'm a stickler for this stuff.
