for a local contest.....around my area....
uhhhhhmmmm................ yeah i pretty much rushed it off til i like, came to the conclusion that i have no time left..... may be a lil' crappy, but i did spend quite some time on it.
i love viola x)
dad says the guy's got lack of facial expression..... but i haven't the time to fix it now.
hope you guys like it. please, critz for me

he's read a lot of books and i suck at coming up with titles..... XD wow i thought i'd get away with titling this pic "VIOLA"

OH wow this is amazing. I really love this. The character's pose is really well done. I really like the metal gate (or fence?) that's behind the player. Nice touch with the C-cleff, the vines and leaves. I also like the designs in the corners of the picture that you made with all the music symbols. This is a really creative piece!

He looks like a poor boy who can't earn any money except by playing his viola and hope that nice people will throw him money for it.

The only thing I have problems with is the foreshortening of the viola and the tip of it, where there is no detail. Just a blank grey.
Also, the title is "spring"... but why are the leaves brown? The whole piece seems to give off some of the melancholy of approaching winter...

Wow this is amazing. The background has an Asian but also European feel to it. Yea is face is a bit lacking, seems like he is just playing and just feels meh... you know? That and is that a shadow or is the chin piece on the wrong side of the viola? Or is it that I don't know a thing about violas? haha Anyways good work!

only thing I can think is to have the eyes to be looking the the fingerings... cause thats what I am always doing ... heh heh. I do love playing viola and this does look awesome. The fingering and bow grip are well done... YAY!

Wow this is an amazing piece. I love the colors, warm and nonthreatening, they're very soft and muted and it makes the picture look so ethereal. I have a hard time believing this is actually digital art, it looks like a painting or drawing. I was going to compliment your use of paint before I checked the category. WOW!
