FINALLY! after forever, i finally finished this!

... dark link? i love you.

the grass came out funny. i didn't know how to do it, so i searched up a screenshot which had zeldarian grass in it, and then i went from there.

Link leaned over, looking into the well at the center of Kakariko Village, and smiled. Finally, after the longest time, he had time to relax. Everything in Hyrule was back to normal. Even the well was filled up again.
Link frowned. He tilted his head, looking closer at the water. His reflection had flickered. Not in the normal water ripples way, but it seemed as if his reflection had changed altogether. His reflection's smile grew into a wild, sadistic grin. Link's breath hitched as the color of his reflection grew dark, almost black. Then it disappeared completely.
Link leaped away from the well's edge as there was a flash of light. Just as quickly, his vision cleared, and, on the edge of the well, stood one of his worst enemies. Himself.
"You! What do you want now?" Link demanded. His darker half smiled.
"I got bored," Dark Link explained in a voice that was exactly like Link's, only deeper.
"And that's an excuse to come out and fight me? You know I beat you every time you come up."
His darker side laughed deeply. "Who said I was going to fight at all?" he breathed.
He disappeared. "Shoot! Where'd he go?!" Link thought to himself as he searched Kakariko. He thought that, since the village was so small, he could've found himself easily. Too bad that wasn't the case.
Link continued to search for Dark Link, finding him pulling an arrow at a cucco. Link's eyes widened, and he sped up.
"DON'T DO IT!" Link cried. Dark Link released the arrow.

The cucco cried out in pain. Link managed to supress Dark Link, but his darker side was stronger. Eventually, Dark Link managed to swing his sword at the cucco, which cried out again.
"Stop it!" Link cried.
"Too late ," Dark Link smiled from under Link's chokehold.
There was a flapping of wings. One, then two, then ten. Link paled. "Shoot," he whispered. His darker side laughed.
"Have fun," Dark Link snickered as he melted into the ground.

edit2: Forgot to mention: The reason why there’s a convenient door there is because I was trying to do more backgrounds and also capture the architecture of Kakariko Village. It isn't to give Link an easy escape route.

edit3: reminded me that the bow was in lack of a string. i had wanted to add it on after i was finished, but i forgot. thanks, man!
