Love it; I've one question, though: how'd she lose the eye?
Seriously, I almost earned myself an eyepatch when my own heavy, oaken, three-part staff went wild during practice and its last segment connected solidly across the right side of my face; luckily human skulls are shaped to deflect a lot of the force away from the socket and I wound up feeling sore, stupid, and lucky. Her spiked-ball would not have been so kind as to just leave a bruise, I'd imagine.
Be careful with those articulated weapons, right?
