Description Rest In Peace 1985-2018. She died of cancer, this is one of our collaborations we did together back then. It still fills my heart with joy that this still gets favorites and views to this day so long after being posted. I miss her so much, she was my sister.

Kelli sent me a link to the rough penciling of this artwork that she did, two days ago for an art collab and I couldn't say no. So I printed the rough pencil out in pink inks (can't tell, can you? ) and lined this baby and colored it in my usual methods using copics, prismacolors and letrasets.

A scene from her fanwork on the Crash Bandicoot series, it features the two diminutive madmen Cortex and N.Gin working together to super-evolve three human beings into weapons of destruction for their latest plots to make the world their own. Codenamed "Gitaru's" these superhumans are designed to do whatever it takes to get things done for their creators, with the help of a little mental enslavement device placed on their foreheads for increased obedience, something Cortex didn't think of doing to his last army of evolved critters.

I had an unadulterated amount of fun working on this one, and I couldn't belive the success rate of removing the ink of 's great pencil-work in place of the inking process and coloring process! I absolutely 100% thought that it would show through and I'd have to explain myself, but it didn't.

That's what cloned cat-people make me think of automatically, especially after I replayed Phantasy Star 2. >>;

The Merle thing was just the markings.

Hahah, yeah she created these guys nearly 12 years ago! Back when she was gaga about the play "Cats" no less. It made a funny plot twist to us at the time, what can we say?
