Description
This is gonna be one of the main players in the story, I've decided.Am I technically making a monster clown character given the way this guy's "game face" looks? Eh, kinda.
But on the other hand, I'm writing him as one of the more chill Toons of the story: he's actually indifferent towards humanity, unlike other Toons that instead love corrupting and toying with the puny fragile things.
He only cares about Toons or any other thing trespassing his property in ANY way.
...so of course the other characters we'll follow WILL end up there and piss him the fuck off lol
For the design I actually dug up and used a character that I already drew and doodled back in 2011-2013.
The main inspiration was the clown doll from the Italian horror b-movie Ghosthouse (tho, considering that doll was a BLATANT ripoff of the clown from Poltergeist, I'd say this simply giving them a taste of their own medicine), tho the monstrous form is only when he's pissed.
When he's "normal", his design is kinda inspired by the Animaniacs, and those Disney "dog people" I see especially in a lot of Italian Mickey Mouse comics.
By the way, he doesn't talk. With one exception (we'll get to them another time), none of the Toons talk and introduce themselves. Most of the Toons are essentially eldritch abominations that let out unnatural screeches and creepy, strange sounds when they try to communicate. So names like "Mazarus the cat" or "Jangle" here are just nicknames given by the author just so I don't have to talk nonsense descriptions to make you get who I'm referring to, but simply mention their name, it's quicker.
