I recently came up with a trashy mindless violence story set in a dystopian future '80s early '90s style, inspired by movies such as RoboCop, Class of 1999, Fortress, Death Machine and some other things. Dunno if I'll ever go through with it because it's pretty bloated and violent for the hell of it overall.

It would be set on a dystopian city/metropolis (which WOULD NOT look like yet another Blade Runner ripoff) after a huge war among cyborgs, robots and anything else that looks cool and kills stuff spectacularly, before that it was a peaceful retrofuturistic Tomorrowland and then one asshole kickstarted the whole conflict and by the end of it all a corporate Dick Jones-looking evil super president rules the city, the wealthy live on the moon, and on the streets psychopaths, cyborgs and other monsters go around fighting and fucking shit up and being as politically incorrect as possible. Yeah, this is not for Tumblr, I'm embracing the stereotypes of '80s and early '90s action movies and violent scifi and if anything make then more exaggerated.

The guy who caused the war and everything going to shit would be the main villain, who is an evil genius with muscles that wants everyone dead for no strong reason other than because he's evil, and for what he did he's life sentenced to Phobos, one of the satellites of Mars, where he just floats in the gravitational center of the facility, interacting with no one else, all alone inside an asteroid.
I guess he manages to get out of there thanks to plot armor and poor writing and he makes his way back to Earth to finish what he started, we follow some subplots and in the end he and everyone pretty much dies and the whole planet is blown up. Told ya it's a trashy story.

Tho, I find the idea of a maximum security prison/cell for one guy inside an asteroid to be interesting, a punishment worse than death or torture, almost like being doomed to stay in limbo, and it would be crushing to be all alone with no one to talk to, not even an AI or anything.
The inside of Phobos is like a spinning centrifuge base that has tunnels to allow the spinning and artificial gravity in case someone arrives to check on him. Imagine this dcmstarshipsblog.files.wordpre… inside a meteor and that's what this place pretty much is. It's all powered by a nuclear reactor and there are propellers that can stabilize the whole asteroid so that a capsule can lock on to the hatch on the surface and enter.
