I can understand many things for a person just looking his/her hands

the dirty background fits perfectly with the great colours used, very scetchy, love it.

I really like the sketchiness of the lineworks and the colors. And yet you didn't distort or stylize the hands too much with technique. They stay fairly realistic. Good work on this.

Thanks for the comment on my photo - I can't quite see the figure of the woman, but it may be because I've seen that corridor so often I can't quite bring a fresh eye to it. I like this piece of yours, the hands! Very odd but very real looking at the same time...and the colours are great!

I love how you treat all of your work... it is all so gritty and real
Something I enjoy is when a piece of work doesn't need to be precisely colored in the lines, the overall mood is just as important.

I love the way this piece seems to move. The rawness of the lines give your hands motion, like a blurred picture...the action caught in mid-movement. Bravo~

The whole work gives off a sort of "sketchy" feeling.
I like sketchy things.

NICE. really like the non precision of it, but you can still take much gesture from it, like the person is looking and stroking their hands.....i really like it.

Schiele's "affinity" with his hands, was completely derived from his overwhelming obsession with masturbation. he is the only guy i have ever seen that can pull off the "self-portrait while masturbating."
anyway, this is one of my favourite pieces i have seen on deviantart in a long time...i am really impressed. the colours are great, the study isnt all that hod, but the finished product looks amazing.

Great hand studies!! I love the evident process you have gone through with this. See Egon Schiele at [link] . He was an artist in the early 20th Century who had an affinity with his hands and their positions. This reminds me of him. Cheers.
