With my computer busted, I've been watching a lot of toons as of late. Sadly I can never draw them exactly on model. Good for individual work, not so good on wanting to be an animator for another studio.Wakko, Yakko, and Dot (c) Warner Bros.

I wish they'd bring these guys back. My friend knows their songs by heart and sings them all the time...especally the Countries of the World one...
I've never quite understood if they're supposted to resemble any sort of animal or if they're just...unique little critters.

They're supposed to just be generic whiteface cartoon characters, without any specific species; the backstory says they're from about that era, but they were locked away because they were too much for audiences back then to handle (and yet, Mickey smoked, boozed, and occasionally forced himself on Minnie. Go figure). Characters in the show are often uncertain what they are. I think the Swedish Grim Reaper referred to them as "puppy-children."
