Shark Week (aka the best week ever) is here. Last year I missed out on trying to draw a shark-a-day but this year I won't!Every night I am doing live streams of the sharks I draw as well so keep an eye out for those!
So for the first day here is a Goblin Shark!

These guys are one of my favorites. I only learned about them about 3 years ago and they are awesome. That mouth is absolutely terrifying, imo.
I'm surprised I haven't had a dream with one trying to attack me yet (I have quite a few dreams where sharks magically appear (mostly great whites) and try to eat me. I think a Megaladon appeared in one dream, tried to eat me, them became my best friend. IT WAS AWESOME).
I stylized this guy a lot and made him look more like his mouth wouldn't retract back into his head (oopsie) but gave him a nice big grin. I also played with some somewhat unnatural colors for this shark. I really like the orange color scheme more than it's normal pinkish color.
I also made an attempt at gradient shading. I think it turned out okay and I hope to get better at it as the week wears on.

Goblin Sharks are my most favorite of the sharks then it goes to some other kinds of sharks. again wow job

Amazing, I saw one of these when I was on my boat once. Scared the living crap outta me but it was cool. I named him Tooth.

These sharks scare the crap outta me. Like, if I knew one was around, I wouldn't want to get in the water at all. O.O This artwork is great, though - it's quite funny and the colors are wonderful.
