I made this painting for #BatmanDay last year in 2020. I wanted to paint a menacing image of Batman, something that reflected how the superstitious criminals of Gotham saw him as a mythical creature of the night which is why I made a blood red variant (heavily inspired by the title card color treatment of The Batman trailer starring Robert Pattinson).The suit I referenced was the one used in the Batman: Arkham Knight game (if that wasn't obvious already).
