Description

Here several of the characters I haven't made bios for yet. (I have more I plan to introduce, but I'm trying to keep from using too many bioless characters at once). I intend to update this deviation whenever this roster changes, either because I've completed a bio, or because someone new has been added to the waiting list.

Matthew Young: Ashe's first master, he was horribly abusive to her but after she escaped he realized he was wrong and is trying his best to turn over a new leaf. He dropped his facade of being a refined gentleman and now shows himself to be a morose man who worries a lot and has occasional fits of rage, but does earnestly care about the people close to him. Voice song: Haunted by Disturbed

Gabriela "Gremlin" Dominguez: A vampire batgirl who Matthew found badly injured and nursed back to health. She sees the best in him and decided to stay with him and help him become better, both encouraging and scolding him as necessary. She also has an ear for gossip and likes to fly around Foxfield keeping up to date on everyone's lives. (Infinite-adopted from arcmagezaln , you can get your own batgirl here: Mini minion bat types ) Voice song: Welcome to the Show by Britt Nicole

Violet Ulrich: A Foxfield High student and friend of Ellen and Char, Violet has a strong independent streak and hates being told what to do, but will go to great lengths to help people she cares about. She's also quite energetic and likes sports, and gets very restless if she has to keep still for too long. She knows about the adult side of her mom's business, although of course Natasha forbids her from having any involvement with it. (Originally adopted from kise-kink) Voice song: Unstoppable Force by The Doubleclicks

Sarah Kuroki: has a real bio

Rai J0U2: has a real bio

Natasha Ulrich: Violet's mother, she doesn't know or really care who the father was but dotes on her daughter. She works very hard running her own little cafe-club called the Queen's Corner, and also moonlights as a dominatrix. All the work often leaves her sleepy during the day, but when she's awake she makes it very clear where Violet gets her independent streak from. As long as no one tries to control or otherwise provokes her she's fairly easygoing. (Modified from a gift from NekoLover3000 ) Voice song: King of Anything by Sara Bareillis

George E4R1: A robotic butler who works for the Frazier family and often takes care of Char while their parents are away. He's an older model, slow to adapt to changes and with a few odd habits. But at his core he's a hard worker who prides himself on being reliable, and he's especially devoted to Char, although he sometimes gets confused by their fluid gender and thinks Charlie and Charlotte are separate people. (Modified from a gift from SomeBodyKares1 ) Voice song: Leave Your Light On by Cordelia's Dad

Roxanne Nightfire: A foxgirl who teaches English at Foxfield High school, her family tree goes back to the Native American fox anthros who helped found this town. She's very diligent and hard-working, wanting to be someone others can trust and rely on, which sometimes leads her to take on more responsibility than she can really handle. She's Ellen, Char, Violet and SKY's homeroom teacher and feels a little protective of the misfit kids. (Based on an adopt from arcmagezaln ) Voice song: Church of the Falling Rain by Stone Coyotes

Flora of Poet's Pond: A badgergirl who works as a waiter, and if necessary bouncer, at the Queen's Corner. She's normally very polite, and is extremely eager to please people she likes, but when she's angry she loses her temper quite explosively! She's always ready to fight for her friends. Whatever you do, don't disrespect Natasha while she's around. (based on an adopt from 0jama-rainbow ) Voice song: King of the World by Porcelain And The Tramps

Old master seems to be quite the bastard.

In an RP I'm doing with Arc, Ashe has PTSD from how he treated her. Her issues are exaggerated in that RP to make it more dramatic, so he's probably not as bad in my personal world, but he's definitely the most evil of my characters.

Still doesn't mean I don't want to beat this guy for hurting Ashe.

Yeah... I considered making a scene where he comes to try and take her back, but I'm not sure I can bear putting my girls through that. But if he tries it, rest assured we won't let him lay a finger on her.

Honestly I want this guy to get the crap beaten out of him. Ashe didn't deserve to be treated like that.

Yeah. Out of curiosity, how much do you know about how she'd been treated? The only place I go into any detail about it is in the RP with Zaln.

TheRexLord In reply to KindlyCruel [2018-01-25 21:11:51 +0000 UTC]

Not much. I'm assuming he likely beat her, given that she has PTSD from it. Is this another one you'd write up to save?

I don't want to get in the habit of writing up my RPs, mostly because it's a lot more work than it should be, but also because if I do then every one that I miss or lose will bother me a lot, whereas it's easier to let go if I accept that all RPs are ephemeral. I made an exception for the one with Dela because I wanted it to be canon in your universe.

I am keeping notes though.

I see.

It's very possible. I'm not sure exactly what he did, because talking about it stresses Ashe out (out-of-story, I haven't decided yet), but she has scars on her back because of it.

Fleshing out the roster huh?

Yep. Making proper bios for everybody always takes longer than I expect, but this gives a quick and easy idea of who everybody is, so that I can use them in scenes even before formally introducing them.

'Here's the Cliff's Notes, I'll toss you the book later!' lol!

Yeah, pretty much I figure, when inspiration strikes, I can't let the lack of a bio slow me down! Plus sometimes using the character for a bit first helps me get a better sense of who they are.

Daggerhammer In reply to KindlyCruel [2018-01-25 07:22:57 +0000 UTC]

Absolutely agree.Β  If you don't get it hammered out you risk losing the idea!Β  And as a role-playing gamer I understand how using a character can make them much different from what you imagined first.Β  I have characters who veered so far off into left field they did a u-turn hee!

KindlyCruel In reply to Daggerhammer [2018-01-25 07:34:22 +0000 UTC]

Haha, yeah! I kinda love when that happens, it's like it's magical in a way, y'know? Like when a character surprises you, that's when they really take on a life of their own.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Daggerhammer In reply to KindlyCruel [2018-01-25 07:57:40 +0000 UTC]

It's fantastic when that happens, I love it so much.Β  It's the most organic feeling way to get a character going!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KindlyCruel In reply to Daggerhammer [2018-01-25 20:55:02 +0000 UTC]

Yes! Especially when it's a departure from what you normally do with characters and you think "did that really come out of my head?"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Daggerhammer In reply to KindlyCruel [2018-01-25 21:04:44 +0000 UTC]

Isn't it a nice surprise when you can say 'This character does this.Β  I wouldn't do this, but they sure would!'?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KindlyCruel In reply to Daggerhammer [2018-01-25 21:10:13 +0000 UTC]

It certainly is. It's also a lot of fun from a GM's side, because if people are getting that into character you know something's going well.

Daggerhammer In reply to KindlyCruel [2018-01-25 21:18:17 +0000 UTC]

Indeedy.Β  I haven't run a game in years, myself, but I recall it happening once or twice.Β  I think my most successful was the day I actually convinced one of those lawful stupid crusader type paladins to actually retreat from combat!Β  This was a guy whose war-cry may as well have been 'Think of the XP!' hee!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KindlyCruel In reply to Daggerhammer [2018-01-26 02:24:33 +0000 UTC]

Nice! There's always that player who always wants to charge into battle for XP, so getting them to retreat is a big achievement.

One of my proudest hee!

I wonder how Milo and Bondage-Man would get along. Both of them keep an eye on Chris, making sure she doesn't become a threat.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KindlyCruel In reply to TheRexLord [2018-01-01 04:57:29 +0000 UTC]

I don't know. In my main 'verse, Milo sees vigilantes as unreliable loose cannons who often do more harm than good, but in Bondage-Man's world where superheroes are more established they'd probably get along much better.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TheRexLord In reply to KindlyCruel [2018-01-01 05:04:14 +0000 UTC]

Bondage-Man's world, Bondage-Man is viewed as a vigilante by those outside the city, but a superhero to those in it, which is why he hasn't been arrested, the city loves him too much.

This looks like a slice of life waiting to happen.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KindlyCruel In reply to WhiteRavenLord [2018-01-01 01:24:01 +0000 UTC]

That's more or less the plan. I don't think I'll have my act together enough to do an actual comic anytime soon, but I hope to illustrate funny, cute and sexy slices of our lives, maybe with some drama mixed in but I don't want to worry too much about an overarching plot.
