Description
So You want to do Gmod animation's, well you are going to need a few things before you get into animating in Gmod. Here are the things you will need:
1. Garry's Mod (I am Captain Freakin' Obvious)
2. Proper Editing Software- For editing software I recommend Sony Vegas or something like Sony Vegas. The Cheapest option I can give you is Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13, available on steam for $44.99. It has all the things you need, pitch shifting, monophonic filter, green screen, etc.
3. Tons of Addons- Garry's mod has a ton of addons, and you are definitely need to use them. I will list some of them, but not all, so here we have:
Henry's Animation Tool or Stop-Motion Helper- steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles… and steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles…
Ragdoll Mover- steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles…
Bonemerge Tool- steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles…
Cosmetic Face Poser Fix- steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles…
There is more, but I don't have all day to find every single one for you, so here ya go.
4. If Ya Don't Have Voice Actors, Sentence Mix- Since most Gmodders don't have access to voice actors, we have to compensate for this by sentence mixing.
Warnings: Please note, Garry's Mod is a powerful beast, but it has some flaws, like it loading like a snail, Can possibly crash, etc.
Pros: allows for alot of creative freedom, is at a cheap price of $9.99.
Heavy, Spy, Medic, and HHHgreg, I mean HHH are owned by Valve
