My first submission! This is a picture of some characters from our local live roleplay society; it's a fantasy campaign but it's possible to attain a 'prestige class' based loosely on Jedi Knights. Here are two of them.

Method: Pretty basic stuff, it was drawn in pencil then inked on paper, then scanned in at 300dpi (two-colour black and white to enforce aliasing for easy high-res colouring). Coloured in Photoshop, mostly simple block fills with a cliche lighting filter for the background. The lightsabers required a little work; I cleverly decided to draw them in the original, which meant I then had to cut them out, draw in the bits they had been concealing and then use the cut-out lightsabers as a template for the final saber images (basic process: select colour -> expand 20px -> feather 10px -> fill, repeat with lower expand/feather values for the core. Note that this is at 300dpi, lower values would be needed at smaller sizes, natch).

If anyone's interested they're available as a desktop image on my website... let me know if you actually use them, because I like praise.
