Titan Industries originally began prototyping the Dragoon III in 2056, however due to economic problems it did not see any real production planning until the early 2060s. Despite the hold ups, soon enough, after a considerable overhaul of the main systems it was deemed ready to see testing on the Somalian front. King International at the time was searching for a replacement for the outdated M9 Cougars due to problems with IEDs and anti tank weapons so the chance to use the Dragoon was welcomed graciously.
At first the Dragoon was used as a rear artillery emplacement due to the long reach and devastating accuracy of its rail gun, however as the conflict wore on King International tank crews began to test the Dragoonβs actual combat potential, and it was magnificent. The dragoon, due in part to its active missile defenses and high mobility, became the perfect answer to the gorilla tactics that King International faced in Somalia. With a top speed of 84 miles per hour, due to its lightweight frame, it developed a reputation for incredible repose time, so much so that by the end of the conflict, Dragoon MBTs had been called out on more rescue and support missions that any other field operation.
The Dragoon today holds an impressive reputation for being a fast rugged tank, capable of handling tough terrain and delivering devastating firepower when called upon. It is fast it is mobile and at the end of the day it gets the job done and brings its crew back to base in one piece.

The treads are Lego parts that I ordered off of a trading sight called Bricklink (Lego Ebay) especially for this tank.
