New new new version. I like the saw-tooth front and rear of the last one, but it's not very consistent with other Culture ship designs, so this one tones it down, with details tending towards those of the Murderer class (as perhaps the most carefully described of all Culture ships, the Murderer seems to me the most important touchstone for design cues).

The Abominator is essentially the late era Culture’s most capable dedicated warship, so I have classed it a General Offensive Unit, but its official designation is the nominatively camouflaging ‘picket ship’.

Described loosely in Surface Detail as ‘elongatedly ellipsoidal’, the ship can separate into multiple elements along planes radiating from the long axis, like wedges of fruit. In this version, there would be twelve wedges. Shown here in ‘full compression’, at 1600m long, with a Psychopath class ROU to approximate scale.
