These humanoid beings work very closely with Death Magick and Necromancy. They are able to help lengthen their life cycle by using a very precise form of Necromancy, not unlike a Lich, however very different. They are able to insight fear and panic into the hearts of those that cross them and can cause widespread hysteria and paranoia in a populace. Many of these beings are good at being Death Doulas and helping those that are close to passing away accept death and ease into it without fear. They are also able to help their friends and family cope with death by helping them to understand that death is just another part of life and not a permanent ending.
These humanoid beings also work with Blood Magick. They can manipulate blood to a degree and use it for a variety of things. They can use blood to create shields, weapons, curses, and much more. The only limit is their imagination. Some of these beings are able to use their different styles of magick to work specialized hexes/curses.
