Description
The Hydra: a multi headed serpent that's hard to kill, beheading it just means it grows back 2 more heads in its place.Seems like fantasy, but on the planet Olympus, they exist.
but how would such a creature work in nature? Well the way I see it, the heads aren't really heads, just brainless extensions of the mouth and nose made up of flesh and cartilage. The actual head and brain is at the base of all the "necks", protected by armor plating. This semi-marine creature hunts by the shore, using its "heads" to pick up multiple prey at once, or to tear apart larger prey. Losing a head is no problem, even losing all the fake ones, it can regenerate them fairly fast. the main way to kill them is to hit the base of its actual skull enough to destroy it.
Hyrdas are no easy beast to defeat, as Lunea learns here.
