Large and stocky, his strength comes from his well-built muscles and knowing how to throw around his weight. Large paws and sharp features make him cut an intimidating appearance, with his lower fangs always visible due to an underbite and his ears always held back.

His pale fur is stained around his eyes and mouth, and hidden under the dirt caked to his legs the fur of his paws and lower legs is also stained.

He has a very strong odor of rot and decay due to the open wound around his neck caused by the thorns worn around it, he refuses to replace them with better-fitting thorns and instead prefers for the wound to act as a deterrent and distraction against his enemies.

Half of his tail is missing.

About Half-Tail:

The position he holds was not always his to enjoy. Half-Tail was a lower ranked grunt who wanted more, and his quick temper made him a formidable opponent, easily fending off others who sought to rise in rank beyond him. Desperate for recognition from his Queen, Half-Tail made a risky play and attacked the General who previously held the rank he now enjoys. Their battle was fierce and bloody, no one bothering to intervene and many choosing to whoop and chatter excitedly about the bloodshed, by the end Half-Tail stood victorious above the carcass of the previous General, snarling and proud and surging with confidence.

Having dispatched his rival he took over the rank, pleased to have earned a title for himself, although without being hand-picked as a General he had no name. The others called him Nameless, something he despised, and in a fit of rage he attempted to overthrow another General, Thorne, and summarily found himself on the receiving end of a brutal beating that resulted in the loss of half of his tail.

Their Queen called for a stop to the brawl, and they each returned to their duties, but from then on he earned the name Half-Tail - a name he preferred to Nameless, and the shorter tail proving to be an advantage in battle, as one less limb for enemy jaws to catch onto.

His short temper remains, however, and he leads his legion with an unmatched brutality.
