I read somewhere that if you tape the inner disk of a floppy disk to your camera lens, it will act as an infrared filter. I can't say much about the validity of that claim but this is what it gets you in any case.

Note - floppy disks have holes in them. I tried to fill in the whole with a second disk by cutting it into a circle and placing it in the center. This is a lot more difficult than it sounds.
