I knew she was The one when I first saw that moving van . That summer was like any other the humidity would have kept me inside but being six I had enough things to do . When I saw the moving truck pull into the neighboring house I gulped standing on my mom's garden bucket to see over our blue fence that matches a sky on a nice day like that but now it wasn't.

The old warner house was known by the neighborhood kids to be bad news. The old owner was a witch no one dared to go into her yard to get the toys stuck within it's gate everyone agrees back then it was a boundary to be never be Crossed. But when she pulled in my brain was more lost then ever how could someone so pretty quiet be related to that old woman who owned the house before.

I snuck passed the fence and the gate separating our houses a new kid to play with was almost like a gift but I felt a bit more cautious. " Hi " she looked up trying to follow the sound of my voice but she smiled at me I tried to cover my blush but soon realized you didn't seem to mind " hi I'm Alex" .
