It is sad. No matter how much she loves Edyminion, he will never feel the same way for her. He is in love with a girl she hates, and as revenge she attempts to kill Serenity, only to have her love die instead. So sad.

It's funny, before I even read the description I knew who you'd done. This picture makes you feel bad for the hypothetical good Beryl. It's very beautiful.

she definitely was in love with endymion? oooh my, i forget so many details, even if i was a very, very, very detail-loving fan in my childhood....

If you play the RPG Another Story or something like that, it goes more into detail, like the fact that they were betrothed or either about to be. Which Endymion was fine with, and she was thrilled about, and that Beryl sort of lets out her broken heart to Usagi (who is there in the past disguised as a maid), in which case the sad thing about all of it is that the characters themselves admit, "We could have been friends, we would have gotten along well." It just feels like so many characters just get cheated in their destiny.

It gave you a chance to see more into the villians and what happened in the past. It was really cute, I thought. And the betrothal was strictly political, which both of them knew, but it was interesting to see what led to the huge war.
