Description EXE/Battle Network versions of the 8 robot masters of the upcoming Megaman 9. Came up with these last night and decided to put 'em together into a little collage here. I can't get TOO excited about 'em since they're obviously not my characters, but they were fun to design and screw around with. I made a few little stupid "bios" for them.

Splashwoman.EXE - Strong-willed girl Navi, probably a total copy of Meddy's personality and would've been a good guy. Her two fin-skirt things clamp together over her legs to make a mermaid-tail and allows her to do a dash attack. Her Operator is a swimming team coach who programmed her because she reminds him of his dead daughter...or wife, whatever Capcom would've "settled" with.

Magmaman.EXE - Sadistic, kinda dumb destroyer-type Navi who works for the evil organization that'd be in the game. His design is based around a lot of the fire element viruses from the other games. His two "mouth" pieces are connected by a big wire in the back and he has Cyberlava stored everywhere in his Cyberbody. Cyber.

Plugman.EXE - Cold, collected and the most like a "robot", also part of whatever evil organization they'd be from. Probably a solo Navi. His arms clamp together, his legs plug into his chest, and his tail-cannon plugs into his stomach. In this "Plugged" form he generates electricity more powerful than any other elec element Navi.

Jewelman.EXE - Probably the second in command a la Freezeman, Lazerman or Cosmoman .EXEs. Very mean and taunting to everyone, obsessed with shiny things and is incredibly greedy. His attacks involve stabbing with the sharp ends of his crystals and jewels or shrapnel of them exploding.

Concreteman.EXE - Gung-ho and loud, protector of the dam that Quickman nearly destroyed in MMBN2. Sees Megaman as an enemy due to a misconception by the evil organization or something generic like that. His Net-Op is a chick construction worker.

Hornetman.EXE - Part of a nature preserve, is very quaint and misunderstood like the anime version of Junkman. Attacks often by summoning viruses from the various games that are based around different types of bees.

Tornadoman.EXE - Young and cool like Starman, another bad guy and probably a solo Navi. A speedy fighter who likes to have fun...that's it.

Galaxyman.EXE - Probably a secret boss for after the game's completion. No earthly idea what his powers would be.

Sketched and colored all of them individually in Photoshop. Will scrap later.

TenΓ©s razΓ³n, los NetNavis tienen un diseΓ±o tan especial que los diferencia de los Robot Masters pero no se alejan del concepto original.

Some of them look...Okay. But, TornadoMan is a disgrace. I'm a
huge fan of MM9,but, TornadoMan would never look that stupid even as a Net Navis.

Have you ever thought of drawing the robot masters of Mega Man 10 as NetNavis? Cause I think you should.

I really like Splashwoman.exe, Tornadoman.exe, and Hornetman.exe's designs the most out of these. Magmaman.exe's is pretty cool, too-- I can see how you based it off the various fire viruses.

As for after whom the coached programmed Splash Woman... given her personality, I'd go with daughter myself.

Case in point of how GAWD-AWFUL the .EXE redesigned travesties truly are. Plus, whoever decided to make the Megaman/Digimon crossover that is Battle Network/NT Warrior needs to be shot.

Sure it may be a fun game, but the entire concept behind Rockman/Mega Man was his self-determination and the ability to choose which stages you do in what order. And he is a robot, NOT a COMPUTER PROGRAM controlled by a KID!

I would so buy the game if it had these guys in it. Great job and the bios are pretty good too. Plug man and hornet man are my faves. Great job!

I like them a lot, but don't you think MagmaMan.EXE looks a little too much like GravityMan.EXE?

It looks like the socket where plugman's tail goes is where his crotch is, does it look like that to anyone else?

... I will admit, when I saw the EXE version of GalaxyMan, I laughed. It's not that you did a bad job! It's just that he looks like he's from one of those old cartoons like Pinky and The Brain or something. Seriously, I love it.

Sweet! Not only did you create some decent backstories for these guys, you made them distinguishable from their Classic counterparts.

Plugman looks like he'd talk like a 1960's idea of a robot. With classic saying like "AFF.ER.MA.TIVE." and "TAKE. ME. TO. YOU. LEAD.ER."

Nice, now they don't look like they were rehashed versions of old robot masters (needleman+napalmman=magmanman?)

They all look really good, i especially like Jewelman.exe's design
