Papa wasn't all that happy that he wanted me to give the Nook another chance. But I told him that it was for his own good. I couldn't bear to see him work so hard to his limits around the farm. I wanted to even help him out with some of the chores, but he refused, telling me to go play with Macaroon and Truffles instead. But at least with me back at the Nook again, he will have one less thing to worry about at home.

Once Papa dropped me off at the Nook again, I was reminded of how loud it was. Wynglings screaming with joy left and right, the noisy sounds of chit chat in every corner. Miss Alma took me over to the Nook's classroom, where class was just about to start. Alice introduced me to the other classmates and told me to take a seat. I didn't talk to any one beside me, but I did see a few whisper in their ears. Were they talking about me?

When recess rolled around, I knew that it would be my time to make some friends. I took a deep breath, walking up to two Wynglings, one gray and one icy blue.

I was too scared to speak once they noticed me, so all I did was wave.

"Hello!" the gray one said, who was male. "My name's Xavier, and this is my little sister, Yuno! If you wanna play with us, you can! Right, Yuno?"

Yuno seemed to scoff and roll her eyes upon noticing me. "Great. Another wyngling who's full of fur. Beat it. You can't play with us."

I frowned. Why didn't they want me to join? Was it because of my fur...? I sadly nodded, turning around and leaving the two Wynglings to themselves.

I scoured the area once again, hoping to find at least one Wyngling who would want to play with me. However, the next one I met, was..quite an interesting character. She was yellow with green eyes, and the second she walked up to me, she started to strut her stuff, flexing off her baby fat as if they were a pair of muscles.

"Hey, girl~" she flirted shamelessly. "Do you like my muscles?"

I had no idea how to respond to this! I felt my cheeks growing hot as she was striking dramatic poses every few seconds. Why was this Wyngling strangely somewhat attractive to me??

"If ya ever wanna hang out, just lemme know, toots," the yellow wyngling said, giving me a wink.

My cheeks were now a deep shade of pink. I remained silent, staring at her speechlessly.

"I'll take the silence as a maybe~"
