Hi! I found your piece through ProjectComment @

First let me just say WOW! This came out really good. She's beautiful! I love the polishing and lighting effects you achieved, which really give this image a lot of inherent beauty. Coupled with your fantastic crystal effects for her tails, this image really sells the character as being just that little bit teasing and proud.

I have a few constructive notes intended only for continual improvement. The first has to do with the tails themselves. While the crystalline effect is certainly well done on your image, the thin lines begin to make it tricky to distinguish the individual tails the closer to her body they get. This isn't necessarily glaring, by any means, but it does detract from the depth of her tails, and can make them easy to mistake for just another part of the background, like a seat or something. Either hardening the contrast of colors for the outlines of the individual tales, or even thickening the lines could potentially help make them more distinct for what they are.

Another note has to do with the hair on the right side of her face (viewer left) where there is a shaded wedge colored purplish-blue here. While this appears to be consistent with the shading effects you use in other parts of her hair, because of this specific location, and the visual size of the image, this can appear to be a mis-color of the "lock of hair" flowing down her collar. It took me a few looks to realize this is actually the cold collar band of her top, not her hair, but the alignment of the shading I pointed out makes this easy to mistake on a quick glance. Moreover, the shading spot makes it look like there's a random hole in her hair, revealing the coloring of her tail beyond. While this is certainly an acceptable visual cue, the size of this effect disrupts the mental image of the back side of her hair, since it suggests that her voluminous hair on the front of the image is suddenly much less so behind. Softening this coloring so it doesn't so-closely match the tails, or using a slightly different shading color here would help keep this spot defined as hair, if that was the intent.

Either way, there's way more done right with this image than anything that could even be perceived as wrong. Obviously, my notes are very minor, and don't hurt the image to any real degree. But, for future reference, they are things to possibly keep in mind.

Great work!
