Okay, I should stop right there. I could go on forever. This was a blast and a half! I'm so glad to finally get this dang picture out of my head. Prayers that the boys make it to safety before getting strewn all over the surface world!
(Also, ignore the grass. Once again, I hate nature. If anybody has Paint Tool Sai and likes painting nature, please I'm begging you, I would love some pointers! )

This is awesome! I'm still grinning over this little story!
Just love the coloring and the perspective here. Is the annoying dog the leader of the army of dogs? That little fluffy good boi seems to have a weakness for Papyrus. Their expressions are awesome and I love that their conversation continues in the description box! And there are so many little details here, like one of the dogs having Sans's shoe in its mouth and the holes in Papyrus's scarf.
Don't worry about the grass. It looks pretty decent and matches up with your art style. It's important to figure out how to draw these kind of things on your own. Whenever you draw nature (or backgrounds in general) it's always helpful to look at actual pictures and ask yourself what the most outstanding detail is and how to minimize and simplify it for a comic drawing. There is no necessity to make the background look realistic if you use a more comic-like style for the characters, otherwise the bg would seem out of place. In other words, you did great with the background as it fits perfectly in the scene and there is no reason for you to be so dismissive about it.

Well, I like texture and with the brushes I've tried out, it never seems to look quite right to me. I know with practice I'll eventually get better at it. But it can be frustrating when I have a certain image in my head that just won't translate properly on the page.
All in all though, I'm still pretty happy with how it came out, regardless. Maybe one day in the future I'll have improved enough that I'll try a redraw of this. But for the moment, this is good enough. I'm very appreciative of the support though.

Practice is key! Though I understand what you mean. Sometimes the picture in your head looks way better than what you did on paper. And this can be mildly infuriating.
