For a kirby costume/alt designing collab on twitter
here's Phan Phan, but with an alt that gives Festival ability!

idk i was considering Circus ability at first, but idk elephants at circuses are often mistreated (and in the anime, Phan Phan itself is actually mistreated in a circus), so i didn't want to retread that stuff.
another obvious first choice was Wrestler ability, but as that is basically what an updated Phan Phan would actually have, i feel like giving Phan Phan a Wrestler-based costume would be more a design update than a variation.
then i thought of dumbo flying and considered Wing ability, which ended up leading to Festival ability after i thought of giving him the peacock feathers instead of the hairs.
in the end, with the mask and feathers, i suppose these all ended up feeding into the final design anyways lol
