Spring stretched on, warming the earth and thawing the lake they had chosen to spend the season by. Nitika, after her birth, had been eating well, her neck almost crest-like in its thickness. Meanwhile, Dahlia hadn't had an easy delivery, and she was spending a lot of her time trying to rest.
