I know I messed up on Gaara. It's my first time drawing him!!Kagome came out well, I think. Sorry if you can't see it well.
This is loosely based on a fic Idea in which Kagome is an avatar of sorts for Kagura. No, this is not a Ninja Kagome, it is Kagome ending up in yet another world.
The sorta Plot for 'Sand in the Well'
Kagome 'meets' Gaara during her wishing the Jewel away. He gives her the idea to wish it away, thus saving her world from the jewel itself. However, the Jewel has Ideas of its own and disappears...from sight, becoming part of Kagome.
By this time Kagome has allowed Kagura's soul into her body, thus gaining a 'split personality' when Kagura wakes up, also her abilities with wind.
Leaving the Feudal Era, Shippo decides to come with Kagome, or at the very least try. Kagome looks down the well and sees sand rather than the bottom. The sand is the same color as the desert that had surrounded Gaara.
However, by this time it's been two months since then for her but like four years for Gaara. He is no longer the young boy she knew, and HAS died and come back.
Between new found bad guys, a couple fan clubs, meeting others that hold Youkai within themselves, Kagome fits right into this world.
If only she knew how to fight with anything but a bow.
Training with Gaara, obsession, love, and a few suitors come into play.
Oh...and where does Shippo fit into this all? Well, you'll just have to wait and see!!

Very cute picture! I think they both look adorable. Your story idea sounds interesting, though I don't read many Naruto stories. I like Kagome's pose and outfit. ^_^

good gods I had issues with Gaara. I think I'm just going to dress him in whatever the hell I want him in because his Kazekage outfit is annoyingly hard to draw!!
However I doooooo Love Kagome's looking back at him in a kinda confuzed 'am I doing this right?' expression. Sadly this is no longer in the fic due to Kagura being inside her. I needed to extend her life, and Gaara's to match the other two so Gaara got all his powers back through Kagome. WITHOUT Shukaku's spirit. How? You'll see.

I think you should feel free to be creative with their clothing. Good grief, why would people wear the same thing all the time? ^_^
It is really cute the way Kagome is looking to him for some guidance. I'm with you all the way when it comes to extending Kagome's lifespan to match her man's if he has a longer than normal one. I am not into the idea that she would grow old and die while he's still looking all buff and then he'd just go on to the next woman. Nuh-uh! Not on MY watch. ^_~

XD soooo completely why I did that. I mean, it would be horrible for Hiei and ? to watch Gaara and Kagome grow old together, ne? They'd be like 'why isn't that us right now? Why're we being left behind...' Again on Hiei's part. aww that'd be so sad T_T

I know! And it seems to be a big trend right now with Inu/Kag fics. I can't tell you how many I've read where Kagome is an old, old woman and Inuyasha is still a young jerk--er, I mean young, buff, healthy hanyou and she dies and he goes on and finds someone else and has another family. Sorry, but I don't want to read that. I absolutely COULDN'T read that with Hiei. I just can't see him with anybody else, and I don't want him to be left alone, either.

most likely. it'll have hiei and kurama in it as side characters, very late in the story when gaara and her end up in her world o.o() Gaara will win her in the end cuz Hiei will be looking at her as a sisterly figure and Youko just wants a lay and Kurama respects Kagome too much

XD Not any more its not! *head to desk* I cave too much to my need for Kag/Hiei I think. Maybe I'll make two seperate stories. One with the three men getting her(it'll give me experience for multiple ppl in sex scenes anyway) and one where only gaara gets her.

*snicker* I'm happy to encourage the Hiei/Kag love. ^_^ That pairing simply has all my loyalty. (And I'll be honest: I hate to see Hiei and Kag in the same fic and him not get her. It just depresses me. LOL!) I can read her paired with other characters, but not when Hiei's around. My heart keeps shouting at Kagome "He's right there! Stop looking at anyone else!" ^_^
Heehee! I love the way you are always looking ahead and making plans for all contingencies. I don't usually plan much for any kids--they're more the icing on the cake in my stories.

Yes yes we must!! Since my first Gaa/Kag is probably going to end up Gaa/Kag/Hiei/Youko I'm thinking of doing another set of one shots just for them. Just to get more use to his character, he speaks alot less than Hiei. And even when he does he's ALWAYS straight to the point *from what I've seen...rewatching Naruto and Ship. to grasp his character and others better*
I am going to say, I think I've finally gotten better at drawing him *drew a group pic of Gaa/Kag/Hiei/Youko...then one of them all plus rivals(Inu/Sess/Kouga) and children!* Oi. I'm almost dizzy with Gaa/Kag ideas atm. I've even drawn a piece with Gaara holding a newly..different*tries hard not to give it away!!* Shippo and blocking an attack from Hiei with his sand *Shakes fist as I find a unique way of giving him back ALL of Shukaku's powers without the damn spirit* with Kagome in the background like 'Nuuu!!'
Also one of Hiei accidentally choping off Kag's hair in training and Gaara staring wide eyed as it happened. With mental reactions from all.

And, I liked it. I did. It's the best so far compared to the books. But, seriously, they added a bunch of stuff that wasn't needed, screwed up the train ride, and left out a bunch of vital Tom Riddle information.

I was told they left out so much vital info it wasn't funny. And one couple was suddenly already a couple when there was alot of struggle in the book for them to get together, and the burrow wasnt suppose to be destroied and what not. I think it was more the ppl I hung out with to watch the movie that made me dislike it

By itself it was an alright movie. But, they just left out stuff that I expected them to actually put in. (And, yeah, the fact that Ron and Hermione suddenly seemed together was horrifying. They don't officially get together until the final book).
