When I made the Madness piece below, I was trying different things, and at one point, I tried flipping the image around, and Dissolving it together. That looked unbalanced, so I made a mirror image of that, and dissolved the two of those together - and suddenly, this very balanced, intricate pattern emerged. It's amazing that something which seems so completely structured came from a piece that was completely scattered and shattered. I've actually made several versions of this pattern, enhancing it over and over again, thru all these different filters on Image Tricks, and thru my laptop, but in the end, i keep coming back to this one.
